We care about your privacy and security

At Bluefields.ai we build AI solutions, so we understand how important data is—and how fragile trust can be. That’s why we secure all traffic with HTTPS, limit access on a need-to-know basis, and encrypt data in transit and at rest. The same care guides the way we use cookies on this site.

1. Who is behind this site?

You’re visiting a website operated and controlled by Roeland Marcel R Hofkens (Paseo Porta Coeli 32, 46530 Puçol, Spain). Questions? Drop us a note at privacy@bluefields.ai.

2. Cookies in plain English

Cookies are tiny text files that your browser stores for a website. Some keep the site running (think of them as the site’s memory); others help us understand how visitors use the pages so we can improve them. For anything that isn’t strictly essential, you decide whether it may run.

3. Your choices, your control

On your first visit you’ll see a banner offering Accept all / Reject all / Customise.

If you later change your mind, click “Cookie settings” in the footer or clear cookies in your browser. Nothing sneaky—your current preference is always visible.

4. What exactly do we use?

Strictly necessary — always on

These keep the site functional and secure; without them things like payments or meeting bookings simply won’t work.

  1. Stripe

  • __stripe_mid (1 year) and __stripe_sid (30 minutes)

  • Purpose: spot and block fraudulent transactions during checkout.

  1. Calendly

  • _calendly_session (21 days)

  • Purpose: remembers your booking details while you pick a slot.

  1. Bluefields.ai

  • cookie_consent_status (6 months)

  • Purpose: saves the choice you made in the banner so we don’t nag you again.

Analytics — only if you say “yes”

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages attract attention and which ones collect cobwebs. IP addresses are truncated before they leave the EU so we never see your full IP.

  • _ga & _ga_<container> (2 years) — distinguish unique visitors.

  • _gid (24 hours) — keep track of each page view within a day.

  • _gac_gb_<container> (90 days) — understand which campaign brought you here.

Marketing and preferences

None at the moment. If that changes, you’ll see it here first and we’ll ask for fresh consent.

5. Do these cookies travel outside Europe?

Some providers are US-based (Stripe, Calendly, Google LLC). When data crosses the Atlantic it is protected by the EU’s Standard Contractual Clauses plus extra measures such as encryption and pseudonymisation.

6. Need help or want to complain?

  • Email: privacy@bluefields.ai and we’ll answer promptly.

  • If we can’t resolve your concern, you have the right to contact the Spanish Data Protection Authority (AEPD).
